Well first we need to be on the same page about what an “Elopement” is. When this idea first started, it was largely two people running away to the courthouse and getting married without any of the stress or planning. It was the ultimate show of romance because nothing mattered but your love for each other. However, elopements started to get a reputation for not being as beautiful or high quality and couples started to miss out on the fun of the wedding day.
We took the best of the elopement and the best of the wedding day, and made a Modern Elopement. A Modern Elopement is an intimate, yet beautiful ceremony that takes away all of the stress of planning a large wedding, while still allowing you the style and stunning photos of a traditional wedding.
ELOPING IS RIGHT FOR ME:
Modern Elopements allow for up to 35 people, but are best curated for a small group of 15. Limiting the guest count is one of the most freeing aspects of eloping! This is where you will save the most money and stress since much of the anxiety of planning the wedding is associated with the logistics of large guest counts. Plus, you do not have to worry about pleasing a ton of people on your special day.
The elopement focuses on the joy of planning by doing all of the work for you so you’re not having to research hundreds of vendors that you have never worked with before, or keep track of deadlines that make no sense to you. Eloping highlights the love between the couple by removing all of the unnecessary details to make the ceremony and the photos the center of your day. You will be able to relax and spend time holding your loved one’s hand instead of shaking hands with DJs.
A TRADITIONAL WEDDING IS RIGHT FOR ME:
You should look into a traditional wedding if you are looking for all of the bells and whistles like dancing, toasts, and welcome dinners.
