Everything You Need to Know about Photo Tours
You’re running away for a gorgeous intimate wedding ceremony on Oahu Island in Hawaii. You’re dreaming of pink cloud sunsets, epic views, and pristine beaches. You’re trying decide which Signature Location you want for your ceremony site and you just can’t choose between ocean or mountain, sand or garden.
Good News: You Don’t Have To Choose
Something so special on Oahu is that we can arrange a photo tour for you to satisfy all of your model needs! You and your love will remember this day forever, and the best way to reminisce on your elopement is through photos.
Plus the bragging rights too ;)
When should I have my photo tour?
Our photos tours last one hour, and we typically schedule them prior to your ceremony when your hair and makeup is fresh. The couple arrives to the chosen location and we have a first look. A first look is a great way to calm any nerves you and your sweetheart may have prior to the actual ceremony. It also allows you to share this tender emotional moment together and hug and kiss as much as you want!
It is also possible to have your photo tour after you say your vows — make sure you let your Wedding Concierge know early in the planning process that this is what you would like to do so that they can adjust your timeline accordingly.
Another option is to have it on an entirely different day! Some couples choose to do their photo tour on a day before the get married and correlate it with a hair and make up trial so that they can know exactly what they’re going to look like on the big day. Or choose a day after your wedding and hold a fun trash the dress photo session!
Which Tour is Best for Me?
There are two different options that we suggest for the photo tour, you can pick based off of which shots you would like and we will check the availability for you in order to schedule this dream photoshoot.
THE VALLEY
Have you ever seen a more EPIC backdrop? The correct answer is no. These iconic mountains are absolutely breath-taking ( trust me, I go there often and still drool over these views ). Not only can you see these famous mountains that were in so many films, you will get to see some set pieces too that were left in the valley, which is great for all of the movie fanatics out there.
We absolutely love exploring this valley, and we know you will too! You can catch some epic sunsets and hidden waterfalls. Is the Valley your tour location?
SECRET ISLAND
This tour is for the couples that want to get their toes in the sand! You will take a private boat ride to a dock that overlooks the gorgeous mountain ridges. You will make a stop at a hidden beach as well. Is the Secret Island tour more your style?
