“I can’t take a good photo” — This is a myth!

Everyone can take good photos — we’re going to teach you the tips and tricks of being comfortable and confident during your wedding photos.

  1. Trust Your Photographer: Much of the magic behind the photos is dependent on the photographer. It is up to them to capture the moment. We only work with the TOP photographers on the islands and they pay attention to the lighting, movements, angles, etc. Trust them! They will let you know how to move.

  2. Have Fun! The best photos are in the moment. Of course we’ll get some great classic poses that you can send to your mom, but we’re going to get so many great shots as well! We may ask you to walk, look at us, look away, hold hands, kiss, etc. We promise that we have done this before and we know what looks good!

  3. Eliminate Onlookers: Many times our couples get a little bit of stage fright if they have to take photos in front of a large group of people. This is why we plan it so that you and your love take photos without your guests present so you can be totally in the moment with your photographer.

  4. Communicate with your Photographer: Let them know if you have a “favorite side” or you want to make sure that they capture a special detail. What we’re NOT suggesting is coming with a full shot list. This often look too staged. Come up with a couple of your favorite shots — maybe it’s the veil, your shoes, or a kissing photo.

Now that you have your tips, see if you’re ready to add a photo tour here!
