We cannot stop staring! This location on the Big Island of Hawaii is sacred to local Hawaiians and for good reason! These steep 2,000 foot canyon walls line a six mile river that leads back through hundreds of breath-taking waterfalls. This area is name “Curved Waters” in Hawaiian and it earns its name with a gorgeous, pristine river that leads out to a stunning black sand beach.

This valley is nick-named Valley of the Kings as many rulers lived here during their reign. It was the set for many pivotal moments in Hawaiian history. On top of its historical significance, this site is home to many ancient Hawaiian Temples and stories of local gods.

It is with this in mind that we respectfully hold joyous celebrations of love at this very important cultural and historic valley. Atop the cliffs overlooking the ocean, this adorable couple said their vows.

Immediately following their ceremony, the couple ventured down the steepest road in the entire United States to take in the stunning black sands of Hawaii Island.

After a photo tour, the couple rejoined their closest family and friends for a small private dinner overlooking this epic, unique site.
