Send an Announcement Card

The key to not offending people who are important to you is to make sure that they know how much you value them in your lives. There are several ways to do this — you can send out Elopement Announcement Cards after your wedding letting people know that you chose to elope. This makes it feel more personal as you reached out to the directly.

Be Respectful on Social Media

Make sure not to blow up social media with your wedding day! If you have a small guest count, ask them to respectfully not post on social media until you have had a chance to let people know.

Talk to them Directly

Another way to is call or tell them individually. When people are especially close to you it is important to connect with them on a personal level and explain to them why you are choosing to do a small wedding.

Invite them to Celebrate with You

Make sure to invite everyone to your hometown bash which can be much larger and you can include everyone without stressing about your wedding day.
