Meet Our Team

We have a super special team of Elopement Concierges! We come from all sorts of event planning backgrounds, so we know we’ve got you covered. Combined, we have something close to 80 years of experience!

We love working together & even better - we’re always there to support each other! We’ve celebrated birthdays, mourned the loss of beloved pets, attended pageants, house-sat, had sleepovers, gone to the spa, and so much more together.

Morgan: As the founder of Modern Elopement, Morgan spends her time focusing on the big picture. She leads our team of Elopement Concierges with vision and passion, ensuring that our couples receive the best experience possible.

Nicole, Kat, Lynsey, Jade, and Jenny: Our incredible Elopement Concierge team. Each member brings their unique talents and enthusiasm to the table, working tirelessly to make every elopement seamless and special. We also run the website, blog, and socials.

Starting the Day

Our team touches base every week for a team meeting led by Morgan. This is our time to discuss upcoming elopements, share updates from our couples, and brainstorm new ideas to make our services even better. We also take this opportunity to celebrate recent successes and keep our team spirit high.

Each day, we get on and check in with our upcoming couples - is there anything outstanding, what else can we do? Then we begin on the couples with a little more time to plan. We also connect with each new couple about their vision.

Reaching Out to Vendors

One of the most important aspects of our job is building and maintaining relationships with our trusted vendors. From photographers and florists to caterers and venues, we ensure that we only work with the best in the business. Our days often involve reaching out to our beloved vendors to confirm details, discuss new offerings, and secure the best rates for our couples — all so you don’t have to!

Finding New Talent

We're always on the lookout for new vendors who can bring fresh ideas and exceptional service to our couples. Whether it's a new bakery that creates stunning wedding cakes or a photographer with a unique style, we’re constantly scouting for talent. This ensures that we have a diverse and top-tier vendor list for our couples to choose from.

Personalizing Elopements

No two elopements are the same, and that’s what makes our job so exciting. We spend a significant part of our day customizing our Elopement Collection to fit the unique vision of our couples. From selecting the perfect location from our Signature Locations list and florals from our specially curated Elopement Styles to arranging personalized touches like a favorite song for the ceremony, we handle all the details to create a truly one-of-a-kind experience.

Being Part of Special Days

One of the most rewarding parts of our job is being present on the day of the elopement. We get to witness the joy and love firsthand, ensuring everything runs smoothly so that our couples can focus on each other. Whether it’s calming last-minute nerves or making sure the bouquet is perfect, we’re there every step of the way.

Our day usually ends with a recap of what we’ve accomplished and a look at what’s coming up next. We review our to-do lists, respond to any urgent emails, and make sure we’re prepared for the following day’s events. We take great pride in knowing that our hard work helps create unforgettable memories for our couples.
